Who We Are

At the Andean Textiles Workshop, we are a collective of talented women artisans from Indigenous communities across Cusco, passionately dedicated to preserving the ancestral art of backstrap weaving and natural dyeing. Each piece we create is more than a textile — it is a living expression of our cultural identity, Andean worldview, and centuries of collective wisdom.

We are proud to be the only traditional weaving center in Peru recognized internationally by UNESCO, honored with the Seal of Excellence in 2011 and 2014.
